Storm Optimus

Storm Optimus

The New Storm Optimus Bowling Ball
The new Optimus actually allows you to experience what remarkable technology can offer. You see, it’s not just exactly what enters into a sphere’s design, however, exactly what it does for your game and your scoring potential.
With the Optimus you’ll quickly see the sharp, striking color combination of the polished R2X responsive shell. It’s highly polished to move through the beaten-down head area like no other, but the powerful backend traction is without a doubt Storm.
The R&D group worked tirelessly to bring this concept to life and this sphere movement to you, the bowler. This ingenious design helps turn the corner harder when other balls lag behind. T

Storm IQ Tour Pearl

Storm IQ Tour Pearl
The New Storm IQ Tour Pearl
gave us a little shorter length through the heads than we would have expected out of this kinda of bowling ball. In addition to a shorter and stronger transition to hook in the mid-lane… It also gave us a strong angular back-end motion… This ball had a very, very hard hit at the pocket and seemed to work best on medium heavy lane conditions with drier back-ends.. We found this to be a very good pearl type bowling ball and a great compliment to the original…

The IQ Tour Pearl features the perfect combination of mid-lane control and backend hook. This is exactly what bowlers need on difficult lane conditions, an easy-to-read reaction!

Storm Fire Road

Storm Fire Road
The New
Storm Fire Road gave us a longer slide through the head along with a smoother transition to hook in the mid-lane than we expected. In addition it gave us a smooth and strong controlled back end motion… This ball had good pin carry and will need some dry boards for the best reaction on medium to medium heavy oil patterns… We found this to be a very good upper mid-line bowling ball…

Looking at the core, we’ll power the Fire Road with the proven Inverted Fe3 Technology weight block first introduced in the Victory Road. This particular shape is extremely driller and bowler friendly; you would be hard pressed to find anyone who does not like the look and the hook of this shape! The advancements made in Fe3 allowed us to utilize a larger mass to increase the dynamics, upping the differential approximately 15%.
But ball reaction is the product of both core and coverstock. And while the Victory Roads and Crossroad all utilize the proven R2S coverstock, we’re stepping it up a notch and encasing the weight block with an R2X blend that has previously been reserved for the biggest hitters like the Virtual Gravity. With a smoothly polished 1500-grit finish and pearl blend, the new Fire Road is sure to fire up the pins and the pocket.

Storm Fire Road: Specification: Color: Ruby Red Pearl/Purple Pearl – Coverstock: R2X Pearl Reactive – Weight Block: Inverted Fe³ Technology – Factory Finish: 1500-grit Polished – Flare Potential: 5” – 6” (Medium-High) – Fragrance: Mango – RG: 16#-2.53, 15#-2.56, 14#-2.60, 13#-2.59, 12#-2.65 – RG Diff: 16#-.055, 15#-.052, 14#-.050, 13#-.045, 12#-.035 – Recommended Lane Condition: Medium Oil

Storm Fringe

Storm Fringe
The New
Storm Fringe gave us a little shorter length of skid through the heads than we expected out of this ball in addition to a shorter and stronger transition to hook in the mid-lane… It also had a longer roll on the back-end than we expected for this type of bowling ball… This ball had a very different reaction than we would have expected from this type of bowling ball… The ball had good pin carry and seemed to work best on medium heavy lane conditions with drier back-ends.. We found this to be a good mid-line bowling ball that fits in a pearl version of the frantic… This was a earlier responding bowling ball than we expected…

Throw the ball farther out than you’ve ever done before, to the fringe, and watch it come back!

The new Storm Fringe is all about the back-end. The straight pearl blend combined with the factory polished 1500 finish depletes energy at a slower rate, allowing for more entry angle and a wider pocket! Now, who doesn’t want that?!

CATS testing showed an earlier breakpoint of more than two feet so we know that we achieved our goal. The 4000-grit finish combined with the solid R2S mixture created this enhanced mid-lane, perfect for those with higher ball speed.
